The Swiss Society for Hand Therapy (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Handtherapie SGHR, Société Suisse de Rééducation de la Main SSRM, Società Svizzera per la Rieducazione della Mano SSRM) unites both occupational and physical therapists in their fascination for hand therapy. The society's main goals are the networking of our members, the maintenance of treatment quality, and the promotion of education and research in hand therapy.
The SGHR is connected with hand surgeons, educational institutions and the industry, and maintains close contact with national professional organizations and international societies and associations.

Society Announcements: 

The next Swiss Congress will take place in Geneva on the 24 and 25 of november 2016. It will be a joined congress of the Swiss Society for Hand Surgery (SGH/SSCM) and the Swiss Society for Hand Therapy (SGHR/SSRM). The main topics for the therapists will be “Communication and the Influence of New Media” and “Musician's and Athlete’s Hands”. The Swiss Society for Hand Surgery will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we are looking forward to welcome our Guest Societies: the Belgian Hand Group, the Belgian Hand Therapists and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Handtherapie.
