Work Experience
I have been working as a physiotherapist for 30 years, and have pursued my passion in hand therapy by working both in the public and private setting, both within Australia and overseas (Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston). I currently own and manage two private hand therapy practices, working in a multidisciplinary area with a number of hand surgeons. I have been employed as an Independent Consultant for WorkCover in NSW, and been involved in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students, in both the clinical and research areas.

Professional Activities
I currently coordinate a hand therapy module for Physiotherapy students at the University of Sydney, and supervise postgraduate students completing clinical research projects. I am currently completing the 3rd Update of a Cochrane review of Surgery for trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis.
Over the last two years, I have joined a team of hand surgeons to volunteer in a number of hospitals in Phnom Penh, assisting local staff in determining appropriate management for complex hand trauma and reconstructive procedures.
I am past-President of the AHTA, and have been involved in IFSHT activities as chair of the scientific committee for Sydney in 2007 and organizer of the Silent Auction in Delhi, 2013.
