Work Experience
I have been working as a physiotherapist for 35 years, and have pursued my passion in hand therapy by working both in the public and private setting, both within Australia and overseas (Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston). I currently own and manage three private hand therapy practices in Sydney, working in a multidisciplinary area with a number of hand surgeons.

Professional Activities
As President of IFSHT, I endeavor to support the activities of IFSHT by attending international conferences, supporting and coordinating committee activities and facilitating the effective functioning of the IFSHT executive committee.

I have recently been appointed as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University, Sydney, NSW, Australia. I teach hand therapy to undergraduate and postgraduate students at both Macquarie University and Sydney University Schools of Physiotherapy.

I am past-President of the AHTA, and have been involved in IFSHT activities as chair of the scientific committee for Sydney in 2007 and organizer of the Silent Auction in Delhi, 2013.

For a number of years, I have joined a team of hand surgeons to volunteer in a number of hospitals in Phnom Penh, assisting local staff in determining appropriate management for complex hand trauma and reconstructive procedures.
